It’s definitely summertime here in Connecticut. The weather has been perfect for getting tan, sweating one’s butt off at work.. and looking forward to a nice swim.

I’ve just returned from the park where I got into a water fight with a five year old girl. She was really enjoying dumping water on the dogs and when she threatened me with a little bit on the arm.. things quickly got out of control. I came home soaking wet, head-to-toe. Yeah, her mom wasn’t all that happy that we got so wet, but… who cares! Adults are so stupid sometimes. (clinging to their petty anal retentions)
I am so happy it’s f-ing hot! I no longer complain about heat since it’s my belief that it takes much more energy to stay warm in the winter than it does to keep cool in the summer.

My favorite drink: Thai iced Tea!

I really love Thai tea but at a restaurant it costs $3-4 for 1 glass, so last year I stopped in an Asian market and picked up some Thai tea in bulk. I think the whole bag was $2 and I have already made 100 cups from it.

What a nice day it is today! After coming home soaking wet, I washed my truck while the dog hid in the shade under some garden plants. I feel healthy, I am tan from working outside and everything seems to be going quite well for me this past week. My social life has picked up.. since I decided one of my friends was too angry all the time and I needed to make some new friends who are more like-minded. Seems to be working as I’ve met three new people in a week. Good times to come, I hope.

I’m heading to Peru to visit Machu Picchu next week. Of course I will bring the camera and 10gigs of memory.

Everyday I am missing Nadiana. I must apologize for not turning on Messenger lately, it’s really not a part of my routine.. but I miss talking to my friend in Malaysia, so I will make an effort to use it… even though my computer is showing signs of old age, like shutting off for no reason, battery won’t charge, won’t hold it’s charge… and strange noises like if I close the laptop, then every 30 seconds it makes the eject disk noise. Even little pieces of the black plastic are breaking off.

ok, love to the world! Greetings to Malaysia, Thailand and China. Hope you guys are good and keeping happy and healthy. …and Nadiana; if eating fruit for 3 days throws you into depression then stick with steak! Peace, darling.

ps, I think we need a new header!

Nothing much to this entry… I’m making dinner, waiting for the pot to get hot…

Speaking of pots, I got a new tea kettle today during our Saturday shopping. Somehow I spent the equivalent of 1,900 what do you call them, Malaysian Ringgits. My daughter got some new clothes, the dog and cat got some food and I got a tea pot. Oh yeah, the dog also got some fresh baked pretzels that were so warm and mouth-watering delicious while I went into a store to get the tea pot. Grrr… I was so mad because I was really looking forward to eating one! WTF? You ate my pretzel! She rode in the back on the way home next to a pile of paper that was a bag.

I painted one side and the edges of the wooden-framed screen insert for our storm door. uh.. i painted half of part of a door. it was bare wood. if it rains, it would be ruined. now it is white. soon it will be the color of my house and i can put it in place and we will have a screen door. hmmm… now it is hot. so f-ing weird! last week it was 0 degrees, today was 26.

I’m making rice with dinner tonight. The rice I buy only has Spanish writing on the package. I wonder where it comes from? It only says distributed by a company in New Jersey. Who do you think grew it?

I used the PS3 joystick cord to download the pictures from my camera. I’m going to use the PS3 to watch a Blu-ray movie from Netflix tonight. The movie I’m going to watch tonight; Walk Hard, The Dewey Cox Story.

That’s it.

Here’s a picture of my bicycle. I haven’t ridden it since I broke my wrist and a finger falling off it last summer. Even though I have a permanently damaged finger, I’ll be back on it soon!

The tea I made from the new tea kettle is good. I like tea.
