Memorial Day Parade

Hey!

Long time, haven’t been visiting 2c much but today is Memorial Day and I’m back to share a greeting. Yesterday was the opening of the Beach Club. (remember last year?) Em and I went down for the bonfire and had a barbeque with the fancy-pant denizens of Fairfield County. I was incredibly bored since I’m not filthy rich and don’t play golf. (I’ve taken up Disc Golf, but that’s a different story) While Em sat around the fire with her friends from school, I got stiff drinks from the bar, ending with three fingers of Tequila. I was rocked when I got home and passed out before 11.

Memorial Day

Today is Memorial Day.
Memorial Day is the American holiday when we honor the men and women who have fought and died for our freedom, we salute our public servants and many towns host parades that include veteran soldiers, local police and fire departments, and organizations of all sorts. Today is like American Day and is one of our nation’s most important holidays. Memorial Day brings a mix of Patriotism, respect and sadness. [Read more →]
