She may not have a good voice for singing but she certainly have a look. I can imagine how hard her mom have to face the community. It is not easy. It is ok for Chinese community to see white people with asian but it is no-no for them to see asian with black. If one day my kids want to get marry with black, I’m cool with it. They are human after all.

My grandfather doesn’t like Paul. He doesn’t know his age yet but he just doesn’t like him because he’s white. He believe white guy will treat their asian wife as a slave and divorce her after he get bored with her. I mean………seriously…….I seen loads of malay couple got divorced and why people don’t blame the malay guy? It’s unfair, right?

My exes certainly have a good excuse to not like the idea of me marry with Paul. They know me well and they know what kind of person I am. They know people will look down on me and people will think bad about me if people see me with Paul. It hurts them because they want to protect me and yet I didn’t listen to them. Of course I know my exes care about me a lot (I care about them a lot too) but we are talking about my life, my happiness and Paul make me feel ace. I love him loads.

I’m moving to San Francisco in March, 2010 and I’m not sure when is the best time for me to tell my grandparents the news. I know they will get freak out but I also know they love me loads. They might take some time to accept Paul but I was hoping Paul will win their heart someday…….
