Yogyakarta – Indonesian Dishes
Most of the time, we ate at the hotel. Yogyakarta is like Kuala Lumpur. Every evening is heavy rain. This photo taken with my favourite Indonesian dish call “Gado-Gado”. The dish quite healthy. Gado-Gado actually a vegetable salad served with a peanut sauce. We ate this twice. So healthy & yummy.
I can speak a bit indonesian language but it’s not easy to read indonesian newspaper and understand what they wrote. So, we usually read Jakarta Post every morning.
This’s my favourite hotel staff. She’s lovely. Everytime i see her, i always greet her “Selamat Pagi, Ibu”
Well, Selamat Pagi means Good Morning. “Ibu” in malay means “Mother”. So, when people call me “Ibu”, i felt so old
I remember my ex used to lived in Indonesian for 8 years and he tried to impress me by speaking Indonesian but still have british accent (British accent always get me “melt” because i always think british accent is sexy….that explain why i’m so in love with Jude Law) and when he called me “Ibu”, i got so mad and i said, I’m not your mother for God sake!
Paul order the same breakfast everyday – American breakfast while i order different dish everyday. I love to try and since my metabolism still high, i can afford to eat a lot and still manage to stay thin
