Cameron Highlands – Strawberry & Vegetables Farm

Morning at Bala’s Chalet, Cameron Highlands

Is it that cold until you have to wear sweater, Paul? I always tease Paul everytime he wear sweater by asking him “Where are you from again?”

Paul said i refuse to wear sweater because i wanted to look cool. The truth is  yes, he’s right. I think sweater is not cool + the weather is just warm.

Paul need Coffee every morning and we went to Starbuck every single day to get fresh coffee.

There was a time, i drank 2 Venti Caramel Frappuccino Blended Coffee in a row and Paul give me “Unbelievable look” 8-) Paul think it’s not healthy drink but i don’t care. Anyway, since the weather is warm, we went to a cafe to eat Steamboat.

Then, we head to Strawberry & Vegetables farm.

Do you know how Paul look like when i wake him up and force him to have dinner?

I taught him how to smile in front of camera….Now, he look so much handsome now 8-)

Actually, outside is still raining that day but i’m starving and i don’t want to eat alone. So, i drag Paul and when we reach to the dining hall, the kitchen has closed. I talked to the worker and explain to him how straving i am. He agree to open the kitchen for us

Doors open when Nadiana gives her big smile. It definitely smoothed the way on more than one occasion. I had the luxury of letting her do all the communication work. Except for her family, I mainly conversed with “my people.” :) I’m from San Francisco, where sweater is de rigeur.

You love your food don’t you, Nadiana! Too bad you can’t eat pictures.

At my house you would be dying if dressed in only a sweater. The highest temperatures these days are about 4° Celsius which is still great for working outside but below -5° it’s pretty rough on the fingers.
