End of summer…

Hey NN,

Today is “Labor Day”. It’s a holiday that marks the end of summer and the beginning of the school season and celebrates those who labor…? Hmm, I think I’d have to look up the real reason for this holiday beside marking the end of summer but I did take the day off today. Around 12:37pm, I got a text message from KL and replied at 12:39pm. I wonder if you wrote the last entry at 12:38am - KL time?
As our summer season began with Memorial Day and ends this weekend with Labor Day, our country club celebrates the opening and closing of it’s ‘beach’ club with a party and bonfire.

I had a decent time last night but in a way, it’s melancholy evening since the next day I will have to start a new schedule, waking up at 5:30am for the next nine months. Yep, school starts for the kid at 7am and it takes the 1.5 hours to shower, dress, make us both breakfast and lunch, get tools into my truck and get M to school on time.

There’s nothing better than a bonfire and this one was HOT!

Can you feel the heat? Can you get an idea of the intensity of the fire? See patterns, feel inspired, feel comfort…? Nadiana… as wild as I may seem and as distant as I’ve been from Yahoo, email and even our mutual blog; my heart burns with an undying intensity. I will try my best to be open, accepting and supportive… to maintain our friendship as long as life permits. I have not forgotten us. In the past weeks, I’m certain you must have noticed I updated the blog’s software to 2.6.1 and added a plug-in to control spam comments.

I look forward to catching up with you. I am always available by email, even getting it at work on my iPod.
I’ve been wanting to share my latest work project on our blog, but I’m waiting ’til I build the doors and windows tomorrow before posting pictures.
