Beach Club – opening day
This weekend was a busy one. I worked hard all week and was ready to for some relaxation and socializing come Friday. What I couldn’t accomplish on Friday night I made up for Saturday returning home sometime Sunday morning. I slept a few hours and was out of the house before 10am; shopping, cleaning, eating and a long walk in the woods with Lana before heading over to the Beach Club for Opening Night.
Our beach club is seasonal and only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day; the holidays that mark the beginning and end of summer. Every year, opening night is celebrated with a cookout that includes a caricature sketch artist and games for the kids and a huge bonfire enjoyed by all.
I’m happy to share these pictures of the evening with you all. It was nice to be with my family to enjoy the beautiful weather on the eve of Memorial Day. I always love the bonfire and had a hard time choosing just a few images to share.

I would like to let you know that the image of the bonfire with my country’s flag over the water is one of my favorites. Last year’s picture was my desktop background for a better part of the year and the image has great meaning for me. Family, Nation, Privilege, Responsibility and great beauty.
Look like a great event and is it mummy on the photo?
She look amazing!

My sincerest apologies for neglecting you for 30 days. I’m guessing you lost my email address since you haven’t written me either. Cheers to the lovely NN. I hope life has been good to you this summer. Let me see what I can do to make it up to you.
Honey, i kept your email in my mobile and my yahoo contact address. Sometimes i’m wonder what are you doing……feel lonely and you didn’t write much like you used to do
I thought you would be more concerned with your boyfriend. But you are right…I’ve been neglectful of our relationship. I’m still here, I hope you are well.
