Good morning Nadiana,

Good morning my friend,

I hope you are feeling better today. I too have been feeling very tired lately and so I’ve been trying to get to bed earlier. I’ve been trying to get in bed by 11 but still don’t sleep ’til after 12 sometime… and every day up at 5:55am. I think it catches up with you after a while if you don’t get your beauty rest.

Today was another long day with only a little work. yuck, I don’t have a good job at the moment. Mostly I work on a project and when I am finished will find another before a week has past. Lately, I have been doing smaller jobs with nothing planned for the future. That is why I have been talking to a company about a computer job. It will be odd to switch careers, but I think there is a statistic about how many jobs one has in their live and how many career changes, on average.

This jobdig.com article says:

“..studies have indicated that people make as many as five career changes over a lifetime.”

Anyway, I just wanted to wish you a Happy Thursday. Of course it’s just evening here on the day after Tax Day… and it’s Poker night for me! Got to win win win tonight since I don’t have a job lined up for next week.

I’m thinking about going to visit my father in North Carolina for a few days. He is older and suffers from “loneliness”. He calls me often and the first thing he says is: “I’m bored”. It’s hard to hear this from him when I know he lives in a great city, called Asheville.
Asheville is a beautiful city and has many really creative and adventurous people living in it. I have been visiting there my entire life and have watched the city evolve into the cultural hub that it is now. There is a lot to do around there and it is NOT a boring hometown. So goes it…

In other news I have finally moved my photographs onto a singular hard-drive and have them all in one program. I can’t believe I have owned a digital camera for almost ten years now. I have over 30,000 images here. It’s really great to have them all in one catalog so I can finally start getting organized and getting some of the great ones online.

I look forward to sharing some photographs of my travels around the U.S. on our site, so you can see some of the places I find beautiful here like, Yosemite and Yellowstone National Parks out west… and the California coast. Pictures from Maine to Florida and New York to New Mexico, I like to visit other places and I’m rarely without my camera. (no, it’s not pink, like yours.)

What’s supposed to be a wish you better health message is a long boring entry about my day. Just know I am thinking about you and hope you are regaining your health and greeting the day with a smile.

Take care and we’ll catch up soon.

Here’s a pic of San Francisco, California, with the Golden Gate Bridge taken by me in April 2007.

Hey,

Here are some facts on the bridge: it’s 1,966 meters long.

I lived here for almost ten years and rode my bicycle across this bridge more times than can be counted. It was an awesome place to live!
