Seribu Tahun (1000 years)

 Seribu Tahun by Imran Ajmain

Relaku menunggumu seribu tahun lama lagi
Tapi benarkah hidup aku akan selama ini
Biar berputar ke arah selatan ku tak putus harapan
Sedia setia

Relaku mengejarmu seribu batu jauh lagi
Tapi benarkah kaki ku-kan tahan sepanjang jalan ini
Biar membisu burung bersiulan terlelah gelombang lautan
Ku masih setia

Adakah engkau yakin ini cinta
Adakah engkau pasti ini untuk selama-lamanya

Relaku menunggumu seribu tahun lama lagi
Tapi benarkah hidup aku akan selama ini yeah…
Biar berputar utara selatan ku tak putus harapan
Sedia setia

Jangan putus harapan sedia setia

Translation in English :
One thousand years by Imran Ajmain

Willing am I to wait for you for a thousand years more
But is it true that I could live that long
Even when spinning towards the south shall not I give up
I am ready to be loyal (to you)

Willing am I to chase after you for a thousand miles more
But is it true that my legs could bear the entire journey
Even when the bird has stop singing and the wave has stop
I am still loyal (to you)

Are you confidence this is love?
Are you sure this is forever?
Willing am I to wait for you for a thousand years more
But is it true that I could live that long
Even when spinning towards the south shall not I give up
I am ready to be loyal (to you)
Do not give up the hope, ready to be loyal

Saturday photos and a Dalai Lama tattoo.

Hi,
Yesterday I went to a nearby town to meet a friend who was raising awareness about animal care at a local juice bar. I parked my truck a few blocks away and before visiting Tim I stopped for a crepe at a place that makes the most delicious things! OMG!!!! I’m sorry I had to eat some before taking a picture because it was beautifully served. I didn’t think to share it with you until after I realized how good it was. This crepe is called “The Saxophone” and had bananas, cinnamon, walnuts, honey and whipped cream. Along with the cappuccino and some water, it was a fine breakfast!

Pre-Marital Relationship

As per Kim requested, today my entry will be Pre-Marital Relationship in a muslim way.

Honestly, i don’t think i’m good enough to talk about this since my life is messy (but i do love every single thing happened) and i won’t reveal here and letting the whole world know how “lovely” Nadiana is BUT generally in islam, there’s no such thing as a girlfriend - boyfriend relationship. You are either married or you are not. Islam encourages marriage to avoid the risk of falling into temptations and committing bigger sins like adultery.

Missing our daily interactions

Hi Nadiana,

The weather is beautiful here in Connecticut. Spring is in motion and the landscape is rapidly changing to green. There are flowers coming up everywhere. Here are three pictures from my walk yesterday. I know we haven’t chatted in a day or two but it seems like a long time. [Read more →]

Malay Wedding

Last night, I chatted with my friend Paul who asked me about “dowry”. He said that in Thailand, dowry is a part of their traditional culture and it goes to the bride’s parents. I have no idea about that and i certainly won’t comment about something that i’m not familiar BUT for Malay (Muslim), the dowry does exist. It is customary here and may go into thousand of RM; often, taking the form of both cash & jewelry or clothing.

Tuesday Cherry Blossoms

While you’re drifting off to sleep…
I walked outside to my sunlit yard and looking up toward the sky, snapped this shot of a cherry tree in bloom. I think there is no closer color to your favorite!
